Floral and then a sap-driven mid palate. A bit tart on the finish, but I like the concentration on the mid palate.
This is a fairly serious white, that could stand up to Fettucini Alfredo for example.
Fine mid palate sap, juicy white peach as well as lemon confit !
A wine here that transcends the appellation and you should seek it online.
Smoky aspect, bright red fruit, and certainly a Rhône like pepper note ! Nuance and balance, and rathersupple with some pleasing noticeable spice : a wine of character that has a rather high percentage of Carmenère (25%) and Petit Verdot (15%). The alcohol at 14% is balanced by the acidity and tannin.
This is one of my preferred wines among the Bordeaux Supérieur category.
Kudos to winemaker Vincent Gauthier.
